WELCOME!  to Charlie’s Seafood Emporium.   As someone who works in seafood, I found I had many customers asking me the same questions over and over.   Most people just had simple questions such as what is the difference between one fish and another or what is a good recipe?.

Like so many other things seafood prices have continued to climb and climb.   Suppliers have come forward with many reasons for the dramatic increase, but the bottom line is this.   You are paying your hard earned money for something you “think” you might like or that some salesperson might have talked you into.

On this website I have put together some information in order to help you distinguish one fish from another or one crab from another or one shrimp from another and so on.

I have also put together names of different types of seafood and I will discuss the differences between them.   You can see a picture of each along with a short description.

In addition, I have put together some recipes for different types of seafood as this is also a question I get frequently from my customers.
